Driver roles are among the most searched and most hired jobs in Saudi Arabia: transport and logistics companies, delivery platforms, private drivers, and truck professionals. A driver CV does not need pages — it needs one page that answers the four screening questions instantly.
The four screening questions
- Which license do you hold? License class is the most important line: private, public, or heavy (trucks/equipment). Applying from abroad? State your current license, country, and years — knowing that working requires obtaining the appropriate Saudi license after arrival.
- How many real driving years? In numbers, with vehicle types (sedan, van, pickup, trailer, equipment).
- How clean is your record? Accident-free years are a real competitive edge — write it explicitly: "8 years driving with no recorded accidents."
- What else beyond driving? City routes you know, navigation apps, basic vehicle maintenance, customer handling for delivery work.
The one-page structure
- Details: name, phone, city, nationality, age
- Summary line: "[Type] driver with [X] years, [class] license, clean accident-free record, strong knowledge of [cities] routes"
- Licenses: class, country, expiry
- Experience: two lines per job — employer, vehicle, duties in numbers (monthly kilometers, daily deliveries, coverage areas)
- Support skills: basic maintenance, safe loading, basic English if any
The recruitment warning
